Short Bio-data:

Prof. Dr. Kazumi Nakamatsu received the Ms. Eng. and Dr. Sci. from Shizuoka University and Kyushu University, Japan, respectively. He is a full Professor at School of Human Science and Environment, University of Hyogo, Japan. His research interests encompass intelligent systems and their applications. He has developed some paraconsistent annotated logic programs called ALPSN (Annotated Logic Program with Strong Negation), VALPSN (Vector ALPSN), EVALPSN (Extended VALPSN) and bf-EVALPSN (before-after EVALPSN) recently, and applied them to various intelligent systems such as a safety verification-based railway interlocking control system and process order control. He is an author of over 150 papers and 20 book chapters, and 10 edited books published by prominent publishers. Kazumi Nakamatsu has chaired various international conferences, workshops and invited sessions, and he has been a member of numerous international program committees of workshops and conferences. He serves as Founding Editor of the International Journal of Reasoning-based Intelligent Systems and editorial board member of many international journals. He has contributed numerous invited lectures at international workshops, conferences, and academic organizations. He also is a recipient of many conference paper awards.

Dr. Rupinder Singh,

Dr. Rupinder Singh is a distinguished professor in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in non-traditional machining, metal casting, rapid prototyping/manufacturing, welding technology, and maintenance engineering. With over two decades of teaching and research experience, he has published 744 research papers, including 498 in international peer-reviewed journals. He has also authored several books and holds multiple granted and filed patents. His contributions to academia include supervising numerous Ph.D. and M.Tech students, serving as an editorial board member for reputed journals, and leading multiple sponsored research projects. Dr. Singh’s excellence in teaching and research has been acknowledged with several prestigious accolades, including the AICTE Young Teacher Award, DST Young Scientist Award, and UGC Research Award. His professional affiliations include Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and memberships in ASME, ISTE, and other esteemed organizations. He has been recognized nationally and internationally for his remarkable contributions to engineering education and research.

Professor Kalipada Maity is currently acting as Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela and having more than 40 years of teaching and research. Conducted two National Conferences and one International Conference with a post conference workshop on Nanotechnology. Conducted three short term courses for Industry executives. Guided Eighteen Ph D , three M.Tech(Res), more than 40 M.Tech projects and around 100 B.Tech projects. Currently guiding seven Ph D students. Areas of specialisations include modelling of machining and forming, micro-machining, micro-forming, additive manufacturing, hot-machining, laser-machining, plasma-cutting. Visited United Kingdom, Sweden, New Zealand, Australia, Belgium, Italy, Tawian, France, Singapore, Solvenia, Canada, Dubai, Germany, USA for participating in International Conference, Training and as Visiting Professor. Received Mukherjee Memorial Gold Medal, Orissa Engineering Congress Gold Medal, Certificate for Gold Medal for best paper in Indian Institute of Metals.

Prof. Rabindra Narayan Mahapatra,

Short Bio-data:

Prof. Rabindra Narayan Mahapatra is a distinguished academician with extensive expertise in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. He is currently serving as a Professor at NIT Agartala, and has previously held the position of Associate Professor at NIT Meghalaya and ITER, SOA University, Bhubaneswar. He has over three decades of teaching and research experience, contributing significantly to the fields of manufacturing science, industrial engineering, supply chain management, and green composites. Prof. Mahapatra holds a Ph.D. from NIT Rourkela, an M.E. in Production from Sambalpur University, and a P.G.D.H.R.M. from IGNOU. His research contributions include numerous publications in high-impact international journals, books, and conference proceedings. He has also conducted several Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) on emerging technologies such as Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics. He has served as Head of the Department at NIT Agartala and NIT Meghalaya and has been actively involved in student discipline, accreditation processes (ABET), and recruitment committees. His professional affiliations include Life Membership in ISTE, and memberships in ASME and IET. Prof. Mahapatra continues to guide Ph.D. and M.Tech students, contributing to research in reverse supply chains, green composites, and sustainable manufacturing practices.

Prof. (Dr.) Himanshu Sekhar Moharana is currently working as Principal in Interscience Institute of Management and Technology, Bhubaneswar. Prior to this he had worked in the capacity of a Professor in Mechanical Engineering and Dean Academics in HIT, Khurda, Dean Research in DRIEMS, Cuttack and GIFT, Bhubaneswar. He passed his Master of Engineering.(Hons) from NITTTR, Chandigarh (Now NITTTR University) under Thapar University, Patiala and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Utkal University working, Bhubaneswar. He passed his LLB and LLM in Labour laws from MS Law College (Now MS Law University) Cuttack, Odisha and MBA in Operations Management from IGNOU, New Delhi. He has 33 years of longstanding experience in Industry and Academia inclusive of 18 years of Research and Consultancy. He has guided many M.Tech and a Ph.D.scholar. He is a trainer of MSME, Govt. of India and deliver talks on specialized training programmes of Materials and Production Management by the said Organisation. He worked as a Committee Member of OSC, IE (I), Bhubaneswar for session 2010-2012. He has published many papers in International/ National Journals of repute, many of them are Scopus/ SCI indexed and presented many Research papers in National/ International Seminars/Conferences as Keynote speaker and organized a numerous FDPs. He is an eloquent speaker in the domain of Additive Manufacturing, Rapid Prototyping, Supply Chain Management etc. During his career, he has been awarded with 12 (twelve) number of State Awards for his contribution in the field of research in Engineering and Technology. He is a Fellow Member of the Institution of Engineers (India), Member of Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering, a Senior Member of 4M Society of India & Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education.

Prof. Andrew W. H. Ip received his PhD from Loughborough University (U.K.), MBA from Brunel University (U.K.), MSc in Industrial Engineering from Cranfield University (U.K.), and LLB (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton (U.K.). Dr Ip was awarded in 2015 “Gold Medal with the Congratulations of Jury” and “Thailand Award for Best International Invention” in the 43rd International Exhibition of Geneva, and he was awarded the “Natural Science Award ” in 2013 Ministry of Education Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards by the Ministry of Education of Mainland China. Dr. Ip is distinguished and visiting professor of various China mainland universities, and Honorary Industrial Fellow of the University of Warwick, Warwick Manufacturing Group. He is Professor Emeritus and adjunct professor of Mechanical Engineering, University of Saskatchewan and senior research fellow of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is a chartered engineer, senior member of IEEE and member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, and members of various professional bodies in mechanical and electrical engineering. He is Editor in Chief of the journal of Enterprise Information System (SCI index), Taylor & Francis; Founder & Editor in Chief of International Journal of Engineering Business Management (ESCI & SCOPUS index), SAGE; International journal of Software Science and Computational Intelligence, IGI Global.

Mrs. Soma Mitra brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Assistant Professor in Human Resource and Communication at IIMT, Bhubaneswar. Holding a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on HR and Finance, along with an M.A in English from Utkal University, Odisha. With a career spanning Communicative English, Soft Skills, and Life Skills, Mrs. Mitra's professional journey is marked by significant contributions. As the Associate Dean of Corporate Relations at the Sponsored Research & Industrial Consultancy (SRIC) Cell of IIMT, she plays an important role in providing outreach research publications, particularly in STEM fields Her academic interests and contributions are extensive, particularly in the field of Behavioral Science. Mrs. Soma Mitra has made notable contributions to various areas including Effect of IoT in Recruitment and Selection, Social, Ethical & Legal aspect of RWA (Resident Welfare Association) Management, Metro Report: Building Urban Rail Infrastructure, and the emerging field of the Human Resource and Analytics. Her dedication to research is evident through her numerous publications in these domains. As an Assistant Professor in the department of Human Resource Management and Communication at IIMT, Bhubaneswar, Mrs. Soma Mitra continues to share her expertise and knowledge with students while furthering her research endeavors in the realm of Behavioral Science.
